Tom Hammer

Tom owns and manages Tom Hammer Construction. Tom is a veteran construction management executive with more than twenty-five years of experience building, managing, and facilitating commercial and residential building projects. The scope of his work includes retail stores and restaurants. He has managed construction internally for the retailer Wet Seal and the Timberland Company. In 1999 Tom founded Tom Hammer Construction building stores for The Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Puma, Quiksilver, and Hanna Andersson, as well as numerous independent clients.

Jan DeFilippo

Jan is a veteran project manager, process administrator and operations director with thirty years of experience in construction project management, process development/administration and technical support. Her ability to create new and adapt existing systems and processes to meet the demands of clients makes her an essential component to assure a successful construction management effort. Her ability to meet and exceed the operational standards of such demanding clients as Timberland, Bare Escentuals, The Orvis Company and the Gap is a testament to her skills.

Greg VanWormer

Greg is a veteran senior executive with more than twenty-five years of retail experience in brand management. He has worked with L.L. Bean, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Timberland Company, G.H. Bass, The Limited, and Bloomingdales. His broad base of experience encompasses all aspects of brand management including retail store development, visual merchandising, product development, line planning, licensing, and marketing.

Pat Imbriale

Pat has more than thirty-three years of experience in the construction field, twenty of which has been spent as a superintendent. He has worked for over twenty years at the luxury retail center, South Coast Plaza, where he has been the Project Manager for over sixty stores. Pat brings both his vast knowledge of how things are built, as well as a wide variety of clients who have followed him over the years.Tom Hammer and Pat have known each other for nearly twenty-five years and have long awaited the opportunity to work together. Pat lives in Temecula, California and will head up our West Coast Operation.

Ryan Mourhess

For nearly 15 years, Ryan has been dedicated to building retail stores. With swift advancement from carpenter, foreman and superintendent, Ryan then became a Project Manager for clients such as Gap Inc., H&M, and Victoria's Secret. From that position, Ryan became their Program Manager and was responsible for project planning processes, budgeting, hiring, training and PM development and overall project performance for the division. We welcome Ryan as our new Program Manager.

Shelly Cohill

Shelly is the project coordinator for our West Coast Operation. Over the past 20 years, she has worked many facets of the construction industry, from sales, advertising/marketing, purchasing and most recently in project coordinating. She is versatile, organized and a cross-functional communicator that can easily interface with peers, vendors and clients. She believes the combination of our highly experienced THC team, good communication and great customer service has and will always be the key to earning and retaining our exceptional client base.

Jack Litz

Jack is an experienced financial analyst, having honed his skills for the last 20 years. He is a valuable member of the Hammer Construction team overseeing all the financial aspects of the business. His skills and extensive knowledge are an asset to managing our entire business.

Grace Lawson

We are proud to have welcomed Grace to our team as a Project Coordinator in our Portsmouth office. Her vast experience and expertise in Contract and Office Administration will serve both our team members and clients well. Grace has a clear understanding of the needs and expectations as a subcontractor office manager and a client contractor coordinator. She possesses a unique ability to view all critical situations from a 360 degree perspective. Her active listening and precise questioning skills, which she employs daily working with our supervisors and subcontractors, are a vital part of what makes her perfect for this position. With over two decades of experience, Grace brings quality, diversity, and value to our team and the work they do. Her ability to keep accurate paperwork as well as build strong relationships with our clients and subcontractors exemplifies her being the best fit for this position on our team.

Colleen Campbell

Colleen is a Project Accountant/Staff Accountant in the fast-paced construction industry with more than 15 years of experience working with a union subcontractor. She is able to manage multiple projects, work with field personnel and consistently meet deadlines under pressure. She has extensive experience with contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications. Her skill set includes many other project controls; preparing product submittals, tracking project costs against contract, coordinating sub contracts, tracking invoices, and staying within project objectives to meet deadlines and project goals.

Leah Sabio

Leah Sabio is the newest addition to our West coast office. With over 20 years of customer service experience, Leah is well acquainted with the demands of a fast-pace working environment. Strong multitasking skills, and her ability to build strong relationships with her supervisors, and sub-contractors make her a welcome addition to our company.

Leanne Bermudez

Leanne is the administrative project assistant based in our West Coast Office. With experience in retail, and customer service, Leanne understands the value of efficiency and quality as well as maintaining a good rapport with subcontractors, vendors, and co-workers. Her strong ability to multi-task and adapt in new environments, allows her to learn quickly and focus on completing projects on time. Leanne has been a great asset to our team, by quickly building relationships, and providing a positive attitude in both East and West offices!

Deedee Hammer

Deedee has worked and led creative projects for global retailers throughout her career. Strong project management skills, thoughtful creative direction, and a passion to seek out unique materials from varied sources is given to every application, so the consumer is engaged in an enjoyable brand experience. With years of experience in retail fixture design and development, floor layout, traffic flow, product assortment and placement, plus merchandising direction, she has developed strong relationships with her clients. Finding retailers who want to expand their “brand presence" here in the USA is another facet of retail that she takes on with complete enjoyment.
